Replanning...
... due to the neverending story (discussions) in the modular group that in some cases follows FREMO americaN... :(
My decision is to go on my own with prototype operations on a small secondary line instead the dream of gigantic modular set up that never realizes. The result is that Crawford Valley will take a central place on my shelf layout in the future.
To be continued... :)

Terraforming...
are going on... The styrofoambase are rough cut glued at the right position. I use both 10mm and 30mm thickness depending on the landscape
Some minor changes has been done to the plan...
Now it's just wait for the glue to harden... :)

Operations...
19:06 swedish summer time... ready for some operations? The tools are ready...
Loconumber put into the Intellibox and dispatch to "FredI"
The local freight is ready
A closer wiew, "Q" GP7 265 at the front.
C&EI Boxcar with fabrics to...
... Mars Textile.
A CB&Q boxcar in LCL service to
... the freight shed.
To empty hoppers ready for some grain at...
... the elevator
Modernization goes on, two old bridges sold as scrap...
... to the scrapyard. He has to watch his old "Bucyrus"
A tankcar with diesel to the fuel dealer...
... to refill to truck on the teamtrack.
Incoming...
Stop!
The caboose clears the roadcrossing.
The the front and rear end crew take a break...
The big question, how to make switching as fast as possible?
Halfways
The last car in place
The engine at front again, the whistle blows and the "Doodlebug" arrives with the evening express...
Homewards
The "Doodlebug" on the trestle on it´s way to...
19:30 finished already, not as many picture as I had hoped but the photographer got a little to excited in running trains...
A brief description of a short test, no freightcards, but some ideas...

Expanding the module
First step is to expand the framework of 10mm plywood to the full lenght.
Then it´s time for the bottom of 4mm plywood
Third step is the upper frame with soundproofing styrofoam (2*10mm) inside
And todays last step is the top layer. some pieces of track show the plan, to the left a warehouse and to the right a coal dealer. The road to the left will be altered at the gate of the textile mill...

Building buildings :)
A two week period of work created a lot of inspiration... At first a wiew along the tracks...
Mars Textile, named after my late grandfather, having an extended loading platform which will allow two boxcars to be loaded or unloaded at the same moment.
B. Fast(h) is an industrial building overlooking the yard from a small hill. Connected to this there will be an old boxcar converted to a shed down by the siding on this side.
The plan is to make a full interior that will be shown from "outside"
